Quick Checklist for Instant Approval

People are busy and baristas don’t have time for muck-arounds. Tick these basics before you click “Add to Cart” and we’ll keep things moving without any back-and-forth emails.

Artwork must-haves

  • The artwork is bold and simple – no hairline details or itty-bitty text.
  • You’re sending a vector file (SVG, AI, EPS). Raster only? Make it high-res (300dpi) and solid black.
  • The design is in plain black on a white or transparent background so we can see the cut paths clearly.
  • There’s at least 1 mm between elements so the stencil bridges stay strong.
  • Your hero detail is 20 mm or wider – anything smaller won’t pop on the foam.

Skip a step and we’ll have to chase you. Nail them all and your proof is on the way before you can say “another flat white, thanks”.

Keep These in Mind for a Spot-On Stencil

Follow these quick pointers and you’ll get sharp, repeatable artwork without any nasty surprises.

Simplicity Is Your Superpower

Bold shapes win. Super-fine lines, tiny text, or textured shading just don’t translate once cocoa powder hits the stencil.

  • Choose chunky fonts and confident shapes that stay clear even after a few wipes.
  • Allow breathing space between elements so nothing bleeds together when we cut.
  • If you need detail, keep it chunky—aim for lines thicker than 1 mm.
Bridges Stop Pieces Falling Out

Letters like A, O, and D have “islands” that would fall out without bridges. That’s where we step in.

Good news: our design crew adds tidy bridge connections automatically. You’ll see them clearly on the proof before we cut a thing.

Vector Files Make Lasers Happy

Vectors (SVG, AI, EPS) are pure lines and curves, so they scale perfectly and give the laser a clean path.

  • Raster files (PNG, JPEG) are fine if they’re high-res and simple, but any pixel blur shows up on the stencil edge.
  • Unsure what you’ve got? Send what you have and we’ll let you know if it needs a tidy-up (small redraw fees may apply).
