We use sublimation printing to infuse your design directly into the ceramic coating. This means the image becomes part of the mug itself, so it will never peel, fade, or crack under normal use. Unlike cheap surface stickers or vinyl wraps, our prints handle daily washing and hot drinks without lifting at the edges. Will the printing peel or fade over time?
No. We use sublimation printing that infuses the ink directly into the ceramic coating. This creates a permanent bond that will not peel, crack, or fade under normal use. Unlike surface stickers or vinyl wraps, the design becomes part of the mug itself.
Are your mugs dishwasher and microwave safe?
Our ceramic mugs are microwave safe. The sublimated print is heat-resistant and will not be affected by microwave use. For the longest life of the print, hand washing is recommended. Dishwasher use over time can dull the colours slightly, though the print itself will not peel or wash away.
Can I send in my own mug to be printed?
We stopped accepting customer-supplied items in September 2025. We only print on the high-quality mugs we provide here at CustomKings. This keeps our quality consistent and ensures our sublimation settings are dialled in perfectly for the ceramic we use.
How quickly do personalised mugs ship?
