1. Promotion Overview

a) The “CustomKings Kings of the Month” (“Giveaway”) is a monthly promotional draw where one (1) winner receives a full refund of their order value (excluding shipping), up to a maximum of $300 AUD.
b) The Giveaway runs monthly from 01/08/2025 (1st of August 2025) until terminated by CustomKings.
c) Entry is automatic for eligible customers who leave a qualifying Google review (see Section 3).
d) Minimum Entry Requirement:
No winner will be announced for the month with insufficient entries. A winner will ONLY be announced if 30 or more eligible entries are received in the qualifying month. If fewer than 30 eligible entries are received:
The prize will roll over to the next month (added to that month’s prize pool).

2. Eligibility

a) Open to: Australian residents aged 18+ who placed an order with CustomKings during the qualifying month (e.g., orders placed in July qualify for the August draw).
b) Exclusions:

  • Employees, contractors, and immediate family of CustomKings.
  • Orders placed before the qualifying month.
  • Orders refunded, cancelled, or violating CustomKings’ policies.
  • Orders under $30 AUD.
    c) No Purchase Necessary:
  • To enter without purchase, handwrite your full name, email, phone number, and a 50+ word testimonial about CustomKings on a postcard and mail to:

  • Mail-in entries must be received by the last day of the qualifying month.

3. How to Enter

a) Automatic Entry (With Purchase):

  • Place an order with CustomKings during the qualifying month.
  • Leave a 5-star Google review for CustomKings within 14 days of receiving your order.
  • Include your order number in the review text.
  • Ensure the review is ≥50 characters and complies with Google’s review policies.
    b) Mail-in Entry (No Purchase):
  • Follow instructions in Section 2(c).
    c) Limit: One (1) entry per order/person per month.

4. Draw & Winner Selection

a) Draw Date: 1st business day of each month (e.g., August 1 for July orders).
b) Selection Process:

  • All eligible entries (automatic + mail-in) are pooled.
  • One (1) winner is selected via random draw using an auditable tool (e.g., Random.org).
    c) Winner Notification:
  • Contacted via email/phone within 5 Business Days of the draw.
  • Must claim the prize within 7 days by confirming their order details.
    d) Unclaimed Prizes: If unclaimed, the prize is forfeited, and a redraw occurs.

5. Prize

a) Value: Full refund of the winner’s order value (excluding shipping), capped at $300 AUD.
b) Delivery: Refunded to the original payment method within 7 business days of claim verification.
c) Non-Transferable: No cash alternative or substitution.
d) Tax: Winner is responsible for any applicable taxes.

6. Review Requirements

a) Authenticity: Reviews must be genuine and reflect the customer’s experience.
c) Verification: CustomKings reserves the right to:

  • Reject reviews violating Google’s policies (e.g., spam, fake content).
  • Disqualify entries with false/misleading information.

7. Privacy

a) Personal data (name, email, order details) is collected solely for:

  • Entry verification.
  • Prize fulfilment.
  • Compliance with Australian Privacy Act 1988.
    b) Data is retained for 90 days post-draw and then destroyed.
    c) Winners may be publicly announced (Full Name and Order Number).

8. General Conditions

a) Modification: CustomKings may amend/cancel the Giveaway at any time.
b) Disputes: Decisions are final. No correspondence will be entered into.
c) Liability: CustomKings is not liable for:

  • Technical errors (e.g., website outages, Google API failures).
  • Incorrect/incomplete entry details.
  • Loss/damage arising from participation.
    d) Governing Law: Subject to the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
    e) Force Majeure: CustomKings is not liable for failure to conduct the draw due to events beyond reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics).

b) Lottery Compliance:

  • This is a game of chance. Skill plays no part in determining the winner.
