Will the engraving fade if it’s left outside?
The text and silhouette are laser engraved directly into the acrylic, not printed on top. That means it won’t peel, fade, or wash away in the rain. Acrylic handles Australian weather well, so your memorial will stay looking sharp for years. One thing to note: acrylic isn’t ideal for coastal areas with direct salt spray exposure, so if you’re right near the ocean, keep that in mind.

How deep should I push the spike into the ground?
The spike portion is 85mm long, so you’ll want to push it in most of the way. Soft garden soil works best. If the ground is hard or rocky, make a small pilot hole first. The acrylic is sturdy, but a bit of care goes a long way.
