Your design is transferred onto the white background using the sublimation method keeping colours bright and UV resistant for up to 5 years. The plate has a silver finish on the back and comes with predrilled holes as pictured.

Artwork Requirements for Flat Metal Licence Show Plate
To create a high-quality print for your show plate, please ensure your artwork file meets the following specifications.
- Final Product Size: The finished plate will be 372mm x 133mm.
- Required File Size (with bleed): Your file must be sized to 382mm x 143mm.
- This includes a 5mm bleed on all four sides, which ensures your design extends to the very edge of the plate after trimming.
- Safe Zone: Keep all important text and design elements at least 5mm inside the final 372mm x 133mm area to prevent them from being cut off.
- File Format: A vector-based file (e.g., AI, EPS, SVG, or a vector PDF) is strongly recommended for crisp, clear results.
- Resolution: If your design includes photos or raster images, they must have a minimum resolution of 300 DPI.
- Fonts: Please convert all text to outlines before submitting your file to ensure your typography prints exactly as intended.

How long does delivery take?
Once your order leaves our workshop, Australia Post takes over. Most Aussie customers on standard shipping have their parcel within 5 business days of dispatch. During busy periods in the AusPost network it can stretch to 14 business days. If it has been longer than that, get in touch and we will chase it up for you.
What is CustomKings' turnaround time?
Most items are personalised within one business day. Every product page shows an estimated delivery date so you know what to expect. Typical dispatch times:
- Engraved items: 1 business day
- Embroidery: 1 to 5 business days
- Shirt printing: 1 to 5 business days
Large, corporate, or peak season orders (Christmas, Father's Day, etc.) may take a little longer.
How do I track my order?

How much does shipping cost?
All Australian orders ship with tracked Australia Post services.
- Standard shipping: $9.96 flat rate (you never pay more on bigger orders).
- Free standard shipping on orders over $120.

Can I see what my personalisation will look like?
Some of our products have an artwork proof listed as a paid option right on the product page. Where we can offer this ethically at a low cost to cover the time involved, we do.
If a proof option is not listed on a product, it is usually because:
- The item is priced below our proofing threshold, so adding the cost would not make sense for you.
- The design is pre-made with only small changes like a name or date, so the product images already show you almost exactly what you will receive.
- The nature of the product means a digital proof would not accurately represent the finished result.
We put a lot of care into making our product photos and descriptions as clear as possible so you can order with confidence. If you are ever unsure about anything, just reach out and we are happy to help.
Do you offer click and collect?
Yes! Pop your full address in at checkout and choose the "Click and Collect, Bennetts Green" option when it appears (available across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, and the Hunter Valley).
Most orders are ready the next business day. We will text you as soon as your order is good to go. Please wait for the SMS before heading in.
Collection hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. Closed weekends and public holidays.
