Why does my lid look different from the product photo?
Bamboo has natural grain variations, so the engraving tone can differ slightly from piece to piece. Each lid is unique.
Should I hand wash this jar?
We recommend hand washing to protect the bamboo lid and silicone seal. Avoid abrasive cleaners and scourers on the lid surface.
Can I fill it with something other than lollies?
Absolutely. Cookies, nuts, coffee beans, or any dry snack works well. The airtight seal keeps everything fresh.

How long does delivery take?
Once your order leaves our workshop, Australia Post takes over. Most Aussie customers on standard shipping have their parcel within 5 business days of dispatch. During busy periods in the AusPost network it can stretch to 14 business days. For the fastest update, check your tracking details with Australia Post first, as they have the latest scan and delivery information.
What is CustomKings' turnaround time?
Most items are personalised within one business day. Every product page shows an estimated delivery date so you know what to expect. Typical dispatch times:
- Engraved items: 1 business day
- Embroidery: 1 to 5 business days
- Shirt printing: 1 to 5 business days
Large, corporate, or peak season orders (Christmas, Father's Day, etc.) may take a little longer.
How do I track my order?
You can track your parcel from the order confirmation page, your confirmation email, or anytime on our Order Tracking page. Just pop in your order number and email address for an instant update.
How much does shipping cost?
All Australian orders ship with tracked Australia Post services.
- Standard shipping: $10.95 flat rate (you never pay more on bigger orders).
- Free standard shipping on orders over $149.
Express and other options are available at checkout.
Can I see what my personalisation will look like?
Some of our products have an artwork proof listed as a paid option right on the product page. Where we can offer this ethically at a low cost to cover the time involved, we do.
If a proof option is not listed on a product, it is usually because:
- The item is priced below our proofing threshold, so adding the cost would not make sense for you.
- The design is pre-made with only small changes like a name or date, so the product images already show you almost exactly what you will receive.
- The nature of the product means a digital proof would not accurately represent the finished result.
We put a lot of care into making our product photos, descriptions, and checkout information as clear as possible so you can order with confidence. The details you need are shown on the product page before you buy.
Do you offer click and collect?
Yes! Pop your full address in at checkout and choose the "Click and Collect, Bennetts Green" option when it appears (available across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, and the Hunter Valley).
Most orders are ready the next business day. We will text you as soon as your order is good to go. Please wait for the SMS before heading in.
Collection hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. Closed weekends and public holidays.

More then 5 stars for Custom King and their products. The personalised lolly jar was specifically done for my Dad who is extremely hard to buy for. The product was sent and arrived really quickly. Unfortunately, the quality wasn’t what I was hoping for. The writing was so light you can hardly read it unlike the example photo. The jar also doesn’t really seal. Cute gift idea though.
