The Details:

Embroidered in Australia with a typical turnaround of 3-5 business days (plus shipping). No artwork proof is sent for name embroidery to keep things moving fast, so please double-check your spelling! That little bit of paper behind the embroidery is a washable stabiliser – it keeps things neat and disappears in the first wash (don’t pick at it!). Care: Machine wash cold (separately first time), gentle cycle, no bleach, tumble dry low, don’t iron the embroidery. Screen colours may vary slightly from the actual towel.

How long does delivery take?

Once your order leaves our workshop, Australia Post takes over. Most Aussie customers on standard shipping have their parcel within 5 business days of dispatch. During busy periods in the AusPost network it can stretch to 14 business days. For the fastest update, check your tracking details with Australia Post first, as they have the latest scan and delivery information.

What is CustomKings' turnaround time?

Most items are personalised within one business day. Every product page shows an estimated delivery date so you know what to expect. Typical dispatch times:

Engraved items: 1 business day
Embroidery: 1 to 5 business days
Shirt printing: 1 to 5 business days

Large, corporate, or peak season orders (Christmas, Father's Day, etc.) may take a little longer.

How do I track my order?

How much does shipping cost?

All Australian orders ship with tracked Australia Post services.

Standard shipping: $10.95 flat rate (you never pay more on bigger orders).
Free standard shipping on orders over $149.

Can I see what my personalisation will look like?

Some of our products have an artwork proof listed as a paid option right on the product page. Where we can offer this ethically at a low cost to cover the time involved, we do.

If a proof option is not listed on a product, it is usually because:

The item is priced below our proofing threshold, so adding the cost would not make sense for you.
The design is pre-made with only small changes like a name or date, so the product images already show you almost exactly what you will receive.
The nature of the product means a digital proof would not accurately represent the finished result.

We put a lot of care into making our product photos, descriptions, and checkout information as clear as possible so you can order with confidence. The details you need are shown on the product page before you buy.

Do you offer click and collect?

Yes! Pop your full address in at checkout and choose the "Click and Collect, Bennetts Green" option when it appears (available across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, and the Hunter Valley).

Most orders are ready the next business day. We will text you as soon as your order is good to go. Please wait for the SMS before heading in.

Collection hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. Closed weekends and public holidays.

I was very happy to receive my order quickly. When I inspected the towels they were embroidered beautifully, but the towels themselves felt very thin. Ok for young children's towels, not so great for bigger people.

I was a little disappointed with my purchase, but the fault was mine. I requested that the name Edith be embroidered onto a pink towel. Unfortunately the colour I chose for the embroidered name was almost the same colour as the towel so you can't really see it.

We love our towel. Although not purchased as a kids towel my fiance is an avid BBQ'er/smoker and I purchased this towel for his brisket so he can wrap it to rest. We have definitely recommended these towels and your business on our BBQ pages we are part of.
